Craton Cassels son of Thomas James Cassells and
Frances Woodson born 27 April 1845 in Berlin Cross
Roads, Ohio. Died 17 March 1919 in Harrison County
Ohio at the home of his son Garfield Victor Cassells.
He married Adeline Peavy 12 October 1869 in Vinton,
Ohio. He was a Civil War Veteran 1864-1865. He was
honorably discharged (Documentation available).

Frances Woodson,
daughter of Thomas Corbin Woodson and Jemima Price born 1814 in
Virginia. Died 15 February 1899 in Jackson, Ohio. She married Thomas
James Cassells, son of William Cassells and Rachel Cassells. They
married 15 September 1836 in Berlin Cross Roads, Ohio. Thomas James
Cassells was born in 1814 in Virginia. He died 24 July 1876 in Ohio.

They had five children. "The Rachel Cassells
Community Building" at the entrance of Woodson Cemetery
was so named in her honor.
